We Love Virgil

Saturday Update: September 26th, 2009

Well, Saturday's come and gone, and we only have one thing to say: we love Virgil. If you haven't picked up a copy of Halo 3: ODST already, we recommend getting yourself a copy. We'll have the official written Outlet Group review of the game up soon, along with the full video review sometime after, but in the mean time we recommend checking out Episode 1 of the podcast and listening to some of Jason's sweet tunes.

Plus, the Outlet Group Youtube page is also up now and we'll be hosting all our vids off of there too, so get ready for some awesome stuff. You'll be able to find our podcasts, music, and machinima on the Youtube page as well as this one, just in case Youtube is more your thing. Also, in other PR campaign news, we're working on The OG Facebook page, so all you Facebooker's...or whatever your called...can follow us their too.

And now it's just about time for us to leave until next week. So remember: stay tuned and take your pills for the anxiety until next week, we'll keep you posted.

If Podcasts Were Like a Box of Chocolates...

Weekly Update: September 19th, 2009

...ours would be the one filled with actual chocolate (you know that's hard to come by now-a-days in a box of chocolate). That's right, the first episode of the Outlet Group Podcast is finally here. Hard work, perseverance, and lots of sweat made it all possible. Just under twenty two minutes in length, this bad boy is like the porridge in that three bears story (not too long, not too short..just right). If you love to laugh and like random comedy, give it a listen here.

Now, in other news, if you haven't been living in a cave for the past couple months (or own a PS3) you know that Halo 3: ODST is gonna be dropping this Tuesday. And with the holiday buying season coming up, what could be better than having the season's top titles reviewed for you, so you can better judge what to spend your money on. Halo 3: ODST is first in our season line-up. You can expect a review on it shortly after it launches, filled with the perfect amount of Outlet Group goodness and comedy.

Well, this was a big weekend for us, so we'll get out of here and see you guys later. Yeah, we'll miss you too.

Mac Attack

Weekly Update: September 12th, 2009

So the weekend is upon us once again, and it looks like our page is just a little bit fuller than it was last week. Jason pulled out his guitar and threw some soothing words and a peaceful tune together, and produced his first of many songs, "We're Together." So if your feelin' blue, or just simply looking for something to listen to as you surf, click on the link on the sidebar for The Revolt's Facebook page. Or check it out on Jason's Youtube page here.

In other Outlet Group news, the clock is winding down on the completion of the podcast as the weekend rolls on. We would say we're sorry, beg for forgiveness, and send everyone a personal letter apologizing for the lateness, but we have good reason to be tardy. As the picture suggests, I got a Mac (after being a PC guy all my life). Yeah, all those commercials about the Mac Vs. PC finally got to me. But in all seriousness, it's a nice piece of plastic...and metal, and shiny lights. So right now we're transferring all our files and programs for editing to the Mac and taking time to heal our PC wounds.

Well, if we ever come back from putting salt on our wounds (a great home remedy), we'll put out some more stuff for you guys to enjoy. Check you guys later.

The Summer of New

Weekly Update: September 5th, 2009

It's Saturday. The last Saturday of summer. The last late night pool party. The last family BBQ with your neighbors you never see. The last hookup with that girl you met with your friends at that party (you know who you are). And you know, we hate to brag (lie numero uno), but...the summer of '09 wasn't too shabby. What with all the new things that have happened to us this summer and all. I could go into a list but I'll save it for now. So as the dark stressful cloud of school approaches once again, we here at the Outlet Group find ourselves looking back at all the good times we've had this summer, running them through our heads in a fit of happiness and strange paint splatter jumping (this picture says it all). A montage of awesome moments.

But don't worry, this is no quickie summer romance, the end of summer marks the start of the Outlet Group, dishing out everything we have to offer. You should expect to see some stuff on here very soon, once it gets eidt-approval and off the cutting room floor. I won't give any hints, but you can expect lots more real soon let's say. I mean we don't call this "the home of music, machinima, and shameless plugs" for nothing.

Well, its time for us to sign out for now, but we'll be back soon. With gifts.
